German Joint Venture for Miniaturized Sensors

Resense is a tech startup specialized in miniaturized force and torque sensors for robotics and haptic applications. Since 2023 we have been developing and manufacturing high‑precision and miniature sensors that give robots a true sense of touch.

What started as a doctoral thesis has grown into a dynamic team of 18 experts across business development, engineering, and manufacturing. Together, we are establishing Resense as a specialized provider of force and torque sensors, targeting mass production by 2029.

A key pillar of our success is the strong backing. Resense is a joint venture between the mechatronics corporation WITTENSTEIN and the measurement technology specialist WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG.

We are fully integrated into the WIKA Innovation Center in Klingenberg am Main, where Resense operates an open office environment and a dedicated 150 m² production area.

The modern setup, combined with the close collaboration with WIKA experts, enables us to accelerate the development and production of miniature force and torque sensors, ensuring high quality from the beginning.
